Depending on conditions at a particular beach or sea floor, the shelly sediments of limestone can be strongly compressed with regular layers of clay or sand.Car Carrara Marble is a high quality white or blue stone. It was mined in the city of Carrara located in the province of Massa and Carrara in Lunigiana, the northernmost tip of present-day Tuscany, Italy.
